About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Callysys LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the QuoteCompare mobile application (the "App").
Information stored on your device
QuoteCompare lets you enter and save information such as project names, contractor names, quote amounts, deposits, estimated start dates, durations, warranties, scope details, questions, photos, screenshots, and PDF documents. This content is stored locally on your device.
Information we collect
We do not collect or transmit your project information, contractor information, photos, documents, contact information, location, device identifiers, or usage activity. QuoteCompare does not include third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics SDKs.
Device permissions
QuoteCompare may request access to certain device features only when you choose to use the related function:
- Camera: Used when you choose to photograph a contractor estimate.
- Photos and files: Used when you choose a photo, screenshot, or PDF to attach to a quote.
- Sharing: Used when you choose to share a generated comparison report through the iOS share sheet.
These permissions do not allow us to receive or remotely access your content. You can change app permissions at any time in your device's Settings.
Sharing information
QuoteCompare does not sell, rent, or share your information with us or with advertisers. If you choose to share a report, iOS sends it only to the person, app, or service you select. Information you voluntarily send to another service is then handled according to that service's privacy practices.
Apple services
The App uses standard Apple and iOS services for app distribution, device permissions, local file access, and the share sheet. Apple may process App Store purchases, downloads, diagnostics, or other information independently under Apple's own privacy policy. We do not receive your locally stored QuoteCompare content through those services.
Data retention and deletion
Your QuoteCompare data remains on your device until you delete an individual quote, delete a project, use the App's “Clear all app data” option, or remove the App from your device. Because we do not maintain a remote copy, we cannot retrieve or delete this locally stored information for you. A report you previously shared may remain with the recipient or service you selected.
Data security
Locally stored information is protected by the security features of your device and operating system. We recommend using a device passcode and keeping iOS up to date. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
QuoteCompare is intended for homeowners and other adults comparing contractor estimates. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if QuoteCompare's features or privacy practices change. We will update the effective date on this page when changes are made. Material changes will be reflected in the App or its App Store listing as appropriate.
